Downloading and installing Adobe Reader

Because you will need to close your browser to complete the installation of Adobe Reader, please print a copy of these instructions.

Personalysis for the Web uses Adobe's PDF file format. The link below will take you to the download page for Adobe Reader. Please follow the instructions provided by Adobe, with this exception:

After the installation is complete, click on the Adobe Reader desktop icon to start Reader. Respond to the legal agreement message box. Click on Help > Updates. Select and install any updates, then return to this page.

When e-mailing the PDF documents, clicking on the e-mail icon in Adobe Reader or Acrobat can cause the attachment to be misnamed with a file name suffix of ".aspx" rather than ".pdf". The attached document will not be readable by the recipient. To circumvent this problem, save the PDF document with an appropriate file name and a suffix of ".pdf" and attach it to an e-mail with the client e-mail program (such as Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes).

Apple users

If prompted to associate an application with the files that PFW generates, browse to and select Adobe Reader. Check the "always use this application" box.
